Special type of telephone exchange suitable for the construction of interconnections between different operators. It is suitable for independent peering centers and for interest groups of operators.
The device allows easy and intuitive management of telephone numbers blocks of operators, including borrowed and ported numbers, and of course allows the automatic exchange (import/export/update) of data using SOAP.
Any internal routing tables can be promoted on-line using the DNS server, information on the routing availability for particular number can be checked on-line via HTTP GET and SOAP queries.
The main benefit of telephone part of equipment is that the peering switch works as SBC and effectively hides the topology of the operators network and enables them to adapt SIP signaling in depth and process conversion of telephone numbers to and from national and international formats.
Each operator has its own instance available and therefore error in the settings do not affect the operation of the others.
